Original overview diagram showing four related domains. This is not a literal anatomy drawing, histologic image or clinical decision rule.

Concept 01

Tissue sampling

Fixation, embedding, sectioning and orientation can create artifacts; compare multiple planes when structures appear atypical.

Concept 02

Cell and matrix

Epithelial polarity, connective-tissue matrix, vascularization and cell junctions support different physiological functions.

Concept 03

Histochemical and immunologic labels

Special stains and immunolabeling reveal selected molecules or structures but require method-specific positive and negative controls.

Concept 04

Structure–function integration

Compare organ-specific microanatomy with its normal function before drawing clinical inferences about atypical tissue patterns.

Education / safety note: Photomicrograph interpretation requires calibrated scale, stain metadata and expert review; this map is not a tissue specimen.
